THE SNOW IS HERE!! :D

We got a lot of snow throughout the night and its still coming down! I don't know exactly how many inches we got but I know its over a foot!! Tomorrow we are getting our engagement photos done which will be nice... there is def. enough snow!!
The roads haven't been cleared off yet and I tried to shovel the walk somewhat and its just not happening! LOL
Abbey and Lucy are having tons of fun in the snow... they keep draging me through it and are hopping and jumping!

Reserved a bunch of stuff for the wedding!! :D

Wilbur and I have been busy getting all of our plans together for the wedding!! We went to a wedding show in January and got a lot of good information on venders. We found our videographer, DJ, and florist!!! Everything is now booked!! All we need now is for it to snow so we can get our engagement photos done.

I found my dress it is Maggie Sottero Jocelyn in Ivory and the girls will be wearing a tiffany blue colored dress.

The theme of the wedding is going to be vintage, shabby chic, garden. The flowers are going to be whites and light pinks and ivorys featuring garden roses, roses, stephanotis with pearl pins, and hydrangas. I attached some of my inspirations!

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT EVERYTHING!!! :D

All good things must come to an end

I have been working at my current job as a contractor for NIOSH in Morgantown,WV for 3 years part time during school and full time for a year. This month they notified me that the contract has run out of money. They are trying to find another branch or location for me to work in but its not looking very hopeful because I am unable to move. I am very thankful that my fiance has such a great job with the Pennsylvania State Police that pays extremely well. Thankfully we can hold our own even if I am unable to find a job. I went to school for an Elementary Education degree and graduated without my certification. I didn't student teach yet because I had my job and didn't want to give it up to student teach because I was getting paid so well. I missed the deadline to student teach next semester since this was sudden and I am going to student teach next fall 2010. In the meantime I am going to get my emergency substitute certification and sub as much as I can and take a few classes towards a post-bacc in early childhood so I can get a dual certification. After I get my certification I am going to take some graduate classes to go towards a reading specialist degree and try to get a job. I am actually happy that this happened because I have been unhappy at my job because it didn't feel like it was challenging me enough. Everything happens for a reason!
